"I'm a self-taught American artist that has been painting professionally for over 50 years. Both of my parents were painters and taught me and my 4 other brothers and sisters to love and appreciate arts from early childhood. Although, I am the only one who stayed with painting. I was getting art lessons since I remember myself. All children in the family were first taught to see and interpret 3D ordinary objects to 2D forms on paper and later on canvas. Painting nature and the great outdoors has always been my passion. I grab my paint brushes because I must. When I see a particular scene with the light striking in such fascinating way that gives me the urgency to capture the feeling I can’t help it but share this beauty with the world. I've been fortunate enough to have my work recognized by many museums and galleries and featured in several countries. I’m very happy to share my love for painting which makes me feel even more excited about it now than when I first started. The work has evolved and matured over the years. With addition of intense texture, brilliant colors and fluid motion it's certainly became more bold and very engaging for the viewer.
