"I use pallet knife to rapidly do the first layers of the contemplated composition while I am still on location. Painting in plein air in tough! You are constantly fighting the bugs that love sticking to the fresh oils, maneuvering away from the wind and sun and struggle at transporting the wet canvases home safely. But all these minor challenges come with enormous benefits.

The way that the nature presents itself when you are truly out there is no comparison with the studio work. When you can really feel That’s what helps me capture the true morning light of the scene or the mesmerizing details of the location. The great inspiration comes in those moments. I get overwhelmed with the ideas just popping into my head. I dive into my fantasy world and I want to share that imagination of beautifying the scene with my viewers, so that we can dream together!"
